Fog Reports

A comprehensive sonic identity for Fog, a conflict-journalism platform producing visually driven, stylish reporting and analysis on global unrest.

1 - Audio Logo

Built in two parts: layered glitch textures and real camera sounds recorded directly from Fog’s own gear, followed by a pad inspired by a console start-up.

 

Together, these elements were designed to capture Fog’s distinctly modern, technical yet mysterious identity.

3 - Brand Track Album

The five-track album spans heavy electronic energy with darker ambient moods, offering everything from tense and metallic to warm and hopeful.

 

The music was designed to sit seamlessly under Fog’s short-form documentaries on their YouTube channel.

2 - Bespoke Soundtrack

Raffi also composed the soundtrack for Fog’s short documentary on the sham referendums during the Ukraine–Russia war.

 

He created a set of brief pieces that blend ambient, trip-hop, and sound-design elements to support the film’s tense and unsettling tone.

4 - SFX Package

The SFX package includes industrial hits, eerie voices, brooding winds, and sharp metallic textures.

 

All assets were meticulously designed to enhance Fog’s natural soundscapes with the dark, industrial tone that defines their style.

ATG

A comprehensive sonic identity, in collaboration with Sonic Minds, for ATG a Swedish sports platform focused on horse racing and competitive events

1 - Audio Logo

The audio logo for ATG opens with three powerful, stadium-style drum hits, designed to build anticipation and a sense of grandeur, followed by the energetic “woo!” (Raffi’s own voice, pitched and processed.)

 

The logo was designed to evoke the excitement and celebratory atmosphere of a sport's arena.

2 - Brand Tracks

Raffi also created a diverse collection of brand tracks, spanning styles from high-energy breakbeat to K-Pop, intended for use across brand touchpoints such as social media and TV broadcasts.

 

Though only Atmospheric was officially selected, the full collection were made to express the brand's multifaceted identity.
